The Instructors of
we are so grateful that we get to be a part of your yoga journey
Dara Lisanti-Weber
Founder, RYT-500
Dara sees yoga as water, infiltrating the cracks of every part of your being. Originally coming to yoga for the physical benefits, Dara watched as it changed her entire life: from her values to the way she cared for herself and others. Understanding the true life saving abilities of this practice, she felt driven to become a teacher to inspire and empower others on their unique journeys. Dara is an entrepreneur by nature, owning multiple businesses and fixing a firm gaze on continued expansion of flo in the future. Her classes weave together her deep reverence for the sacred origins of this practice with her empowering, challenging energy. Her forever goal is to remind others of one simple truth: they are the magic, and everything they are searching for is already within them
Kara Lawson-Isaac
Education Director, RYT-200
Kara wants to give back to others what was so freely given to her. Kara was introduced to yoga as a supplement to her dance training. Still in the perfectionist, external achievement based mindset of her station, she viewed it as a waste of time she could be training. Years later after long standing mental health issues left her feeling utterly broken, she found a safe haven of community and peace within a yoga studio. Kara has always been a teacher, both through dance and her Master’s degrees in Secondary Education, but the call to become a yoga teacher was rooted primarily in sharing with others a practice that quite literally saved her life. Kara’s class aims to actively find a fluid balance: a dance on your mat that both pushes and cradles you, with a foundation of joy and reverence for all eight limbs of this sacred practice.
Geena Haybarger
RYT-200
Geena vows to always be a light, sharing joy with those around her. Geena found yoga as a supplement to her dance career, then used it as a bridge to find new intensity when she finished dancing. Originally the move to get her teaching certification was purely a business decision– a good supplement to her career as a personal trainer. When she experienced a major life event during her teacher training however, she finally embraced yoga with an open heart and mind, drawing strength from both the practice and her faith. In Geena’s classes you can clearly see both her background in dance and her skill as a personal trainer; her creative flows are designed to push you to find the strength within and step into your power. Geena aims to always leave people better than she found them, allowing her student to leave her class feeling seen and encouraged.
Beth Anistranski
RYT-200
Beth believes yoga is for everyone. Finding hot yoga after a time of great loss and upheaval in her life, Beth did not expect to like it. Instead, it became one of the biggest parts of her world. It felt natural for her to then take the step to share her practice with others in becoming a teacher. Volunteering at Fur All Cats Rescue is also a big part of Beth’s life, offering the same open heart to animals as she does to her students. Beth adds a lot of flow to her classes, always making sure to give a good physical workout that also leaves her students feeling mentally calm on the other side. She finds joy in giving her students options for challenge but always ensures her classes are accessible to all.
Andy Fang
RYT-500
Andy wants to always be known as one of the “helpers.” Andy originally stumbled upon yoga at a gym, finding classes helped motivate him more than working out on his own. Noticing the benefits he was receiving, he took it upon himself to seek out other styles in different studios around his area. Andy’s goal in life is to always leave things a little better than how he found them, and he realized becoming a teacher could help him do just that. He extends his desire to help others into his career as an executive assistant, a title he has held for the last 15 years. Andy values fun, form, and function when he is teaching and always strives to give his students a strong foundation upon which to grow.
Phoebe Hassaine
ERYT-500
Phoebe aims to guide students toward a karmic chain that uplifts the collective consciousness. Originally coming to yoga in college seeking peace and nervous system regulation, Phoebe found a physical practice that left her feeling as if she were walking on air. While that feeling endured, her perspective of yoga evolved as she began living the philosophical concepts that more in-depth study brought. Phoebe has undergone a wide range of study from anatomy to Yin Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She shares her vast knowledge not only when leading regular classes, but also by guiding other teachers through workshops and certifications. In class, students are led through exploratory yet science-based instruction with anatomical visualization and invitation to feel sensation without judgment. Phoebe takes her students on an easeful journey that introduces their body as a home and sanctuary that they can recede into for contemplation and reflection at any time.
Cait Dicicco
RYT-200
Cait sees her yoga journey as a spiral, rather than a staircase. When she first tried yoga at 16, Cait hated it. The very next class, she began to find a peace she had no idea was available. Life found her residing in Australia, Oregon, Chicago, then back home to Pittsburgh; all the while, her practice traveled with her. Teaching yoga allows Cait to share pieces of herself, forming a connection that allows her to mirror others back to themselves. Also a Naturopathic doctor, Cait often incorporates her vast holistic health understanding into her classes, while always staying mindful to foster student self-awareness and curiosity. Having led her first yoga retreat in 2023, Cait looks forward to continuing to create opportunities for others to find community and growth in this way
Jessica Schaefer
RYT-200
Jessica has watched her yoga practice transform many times over the years. Jessica originally began yoga as a way to build strength and improve proprioception, but as her life evolved, it became a support to recover from a physically demanding work day. Eventually, yoga became part of who she is– a daily ritual of renewing creativity and resetting her mind and body. The seed of inspiration to become a teacher came from practicing at a studio with several older female instructors and a diverse population, both in age and ability; she decided that was what she would do with her retirement. When the pandemic hit, she knew the time was now. Jessica brings to her class a focus on anatomy and mobility with elements of breathwork, meditation, and yoga philosophy sprinkled in. She is known for her creative use of props, both for support and to add little challenge. Jessica’s classes are low key but active, without the pressure to keep pushing past your limit
Marissa Venanzi
RYT-200
Marissa saw yoga release her perfectionism and invite in peace. Marissa came to yoga because her Type A personality was sure she would be “good” at it– her years as a dancer telling her the skills would translate. What she found instead was a space that forced her to disconnect from her fast-paced personality and desire to be the best. The connection to self, peace, and mental health benefits she found inspired her to share it with others. Marissa works full-time as a Physician Assistant in medical oncology, and her care for her patients is clear in the way she cares for her students as well. In her class, you can expect a welcoming, fun, adventurous, challenging, and mindful class with a fire playlist. As she knows a yoga practice truly is so personal, she intentionally holds space for each student to have their own unique experience on their mat.
Torre Eaborn
RYT-200
Torre sees teaching yoga as a means to create a safe space for all. While transitioning away from her life as a dancer, Torre turned to yoga for its physical familiarity. As she progressed in her yoga journey, as well as in her career as a Licensed Professional Counselor, she began to understand the mental and emotional benefits as well. The evolution from practitioner to teacher stemmed from a deep desire to provide an environment where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves. Torre weaves her dance background into her classes by using creative and unique sequences, while still honoring the foundation of a traditional practice.
Sarah Avery
RYT-200
Sarah found yoga as a means to connect. As the world shut down and she saw her work go online early in the pandemic, she was looking for a safe way to get out of the house and be around people. What she found was a deeper sense of community, joy in movement, and intellectual curiosity around existing in her body. The tendency to dive head first into the things she connects with led Sarah to pursue her teaching certification one year later. Sarah is currently an Academic Advisor at CMU. She finds many overlaps between academic success and mindful wellbeing and has even presented on the topic at two international conferences for academic professionals. In Sarah’s class you can expect to find duality in flowy yet strong movements with creative and mind-bending sequencing.
Anna Weber
RYT-200
Anna gives her yoga away with joy. Anna first came to yoga as a means to support her track performance in high school. Mostly practicing online for the next decade, her passion bloomed when she made the transition to flowing with others in a studio. Her love of this practice led her to complete her teacher training twice– once on the student track then immediately again as a teacher. Anna is a self-described literature professional and writer, currently working in marketing and communications for a nonprofit magazine that publishes literature translations. Anna’s classes are rooted in attentiveness, curiosity, and lots of laughter, drawing from her yoga lineage and anatomy background to offer inclusive cues and variations for all bodies
Bailey Campbell
RYT-200
Bailey views yoga as limitless. Growing up in dance, Bailey has always had a deep love of movement. While yoga felt like a natural extension of that passion, she initially found the slower, more deliberate aspects of the practice challenging. As she began to experience both mental clarity and physical transformation, Bailey felt a strong calling to guide others toward their own evolution as well. Outside the studio, Bailey is a skilled Sports Massage Therapist, bringing a wealth of knowledge about the body’s mechanics to her classes and offering students insights on how to move and perform at their best. In her classes, Bailey emphasizes the power of intention—intentional movement, breath, and mental focus—creating a space where students leave feeling both strong and rejuvenated.
Gizella Olivo
RYT-200
Gizella roots her approach to yoga firmly in devotion. Yoga began for Gizella as purely a physical practice, a space to connect with her body and cultivate calm. Through dedicated practice, she uncovered the layers beyond the asana. Sound healing, energy work, and therapeutic modalities deepened her mind-body-spirit connection and led to a comprehensive journey of healing and self-discovery. Gizella’s desire to create space for others to connect with their truest selves led to her teaching journey. Her flows are thoughtfully designed to honor alignment while encouraging freedom of movement, balancing challenge with ease. By weaving in her passion for therapeutic and energetic practices into her classes, Gizella aims to guide students toward a more integrated experience of wellness, where body, mind, and spirit come together in harmony.
Sadie Kiggins
RYT-200
Sadie feels teaching is a natural extension of who she is. When the pandemic took Sadie’s first year as a Kindergarten teacher online, she was looking for both a release and a community of like-minded people. She fell in love with the strength she felt in her body after completing a class and was amazed by the mental reset and sense of peace she felt during an otherwise chaotic time. After three years, she felt the call to merge her education background with her passion for yoga and went through teacher training with her home studio. Sadie’s goal is to challenge her students both mentally and physically, while encouraging them to take what serves them and leave what doesn’t. She is deeply passionate about honoring her yoga lineage, using all limbs of yoga to invite her students to a mental and physical self-study.
Jeanna Morrow
RYT-200
Jeanna sees her yoga mat as a sanctuary to explore her internal landscape and physical capabilities. First coming to yoga with YouTube videos as a means to become more flexible, Jeanna knew she was called to be a teacher by the end of her first in studio class. Eight months later, she signed up for her teacher training and never looked back– adding a Yin certification soon after. While she is passionate about the physical aspects of yoga, her study of philosophy and energetics, such as the chakra system, has had an even greater impact on her life and the way she teaches. In Jeanna’s class, she creates a safe and supportive environment for her students to fully be themselves based on the knowledge that they are worthy and whole just as they are. She aims for her students to feel empowered in their bodies, with an ever evolving knowledge of themselves and the practice.
