need to know

When you come to flo, you are welcomed wholeheartedly into our community. Here are some things you can expect to set your mind at ease ahead of your visit.

Where are you located?

What will it be like when I arrive?

What should I bring?

Do I need prior experience?

What is it like in the studio during class?

Our studio is conveniently located at South Hills Village Mall. You can find our exclusive exterior entrance between Barnes & Noble and Dick's Sporting Goods or enter through our entrance inside the mall. There is ample parking in front of our studio and near the various mall entrances.

Whether you enter from our exterior entrance or our mall facing entrance, you will be welcomed at the front desk by one of our community coordinators. They will help you check in on one of the two iPads, show you around our space, and answer any questions you may have. They will also make sure to introduce you to your instructor and help you set up in the studio before class!

We recommend bringing a water bottle with you or purchasing one at the studio to fill at our filtered water station. If you already have a yoga mat, bring that, but for your first class, mat and mat towel rentals are free! Thereafter, you can rent a mat for $3 and a mat towel for $2. We also sell B Mat and Manduka brand mats in our lobby.  For every class experience, we provide free sweat towels to keep nearby when things get toasty!

NO WAY! Our classes are specifically designed to meet you wherever you are on your yoga and movement journey. Our entire concept is built upon inclusivity, accessibility and the idea that yoga is for all. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Variations are always offered throughout every class type.

Please email, message, or call us directly if you have any questions or need help getting started on your yoga journey. We are here for you.

All regular classes are guided with unique lighting and music curated by the teacher. These elements follow the vibe of the class. Expect more lighting changes with energetic music in classes such as Power, Sculpt, and Endurance. Expect lower lighting with more mellow music for classes such as Slo Flo and Stretch + Restore. We can have up to 33 students in every class, plus the teacher. If you have any concern about the size of the class, you can easily follow how full it will be on our app!

What happens if I am late?

We recommend arriving to class at least 5 minutes prior to start time. While we understand that things come up, no late admittance will be permitted to class for any reason. This will ensure the safety and quality experience of all participants. If you arrive to the studio after class has begun, no fee will be charged for not making the class, nor will you lose any class credits! If you are cutting it close but will still arrive on time, please call or text to inform our Community Coordinators so they can set up your space in the studio prior to your arrival.

What if I have to cancel or no show?

We have an 8 hour cancellation window  for all classes. If you cancel within that 8 hour window, you will be charged a $10 late cancel fee, and in the event of a no show, you will be charged $15. You will NEVER lose a class credit for either of those reasons.

How do memberships work?

Membership gives you access to the studio's classes on a recurring basis. We offer several different membership lengths designed to meet your specific needs. Unlimited memberships come with perks like 10% off all regularly priced retail and one guest pass per month. Every membership requires a 3-month commitment, $25 administration fee and are re-occuring. Check out our memberships under our purchase page on the header.

How do class packs work?

Class packs will give you access to book classes using a credit-based system. All class packs and credits are non-transferrable and expire if not used within 6 months.

Are all of your classes hot?

Nope! We offer a variety of both heated and gently warmed class concepts. If you sweat (like us), no worries! We provide hand towels for you during your practice and cooling towels to enjoy after class!

Heated Range : 95-108

Warm Range : 75-85

Heated Class Concepts : Set Flo, Power Flo

Gently Warmed : Stretch & Restore, Slo Flo, Endurance Flo, Sculpt, Foundational Flo

What should I wear?

Dress in a way that will allow unrestricted movement in a warm space. Bulky or stiff fabrics could inhibit moving in the way you would like and become heavy when sweating. Our highest goal is to create a respectful and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable, we ask that you avoid attire that could result in a wardrobe malfunction when moving.

What do I do if I feel overwhelmed or too hot during class?

Our studio space has two separate doors on opposite sides of the room. This ensures you can easily slip out of class if you need to. One door leads to the bathrooms and locker area if you need a moment alone, the other leads to our lobby where you can find a community coordinator at the front desk if you would like some support. They will have cold towels, extra water, and a listening heart if you need anything!

Is there an age requirement to attend class?

We welcome students of all ages to attend! However, if a student is under 16 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must be present with them in the class. If the student is 16-18, we require a waiver signed by the guardian.

we want you to feel comfortable when entering our studio. if you have any additional questions please contact us.
